After some work, I was able to get some time to finish up this project properly and be able to showcase the entire project in a better light.
This project helped me to understand better how to have point attractors within Revit and work with them in unison with other commands made in Dynamo or instruction sets that allowed this masterpiece to be created. It was crucial that the rest of the project was able to have the same level of creativity as well as character to not draw its attention away.
Setting
I set the project to be on the outskirts of Paris near some futuristic towers so it would not clash as much with the classical look Paris has in most of its arrondissements. I thought the setting in this area would help the tower to draw more attention and not clash but rather to stand on its own and be admired by passersby. Finally, I felt complete looking at this project in this light rather than in its infancy and time of creation; it´s as though you are giving birth to your own child. I wonder if that is the same thoughts that engineers and architects go through - are my children ok?
Low E Coatings
The energy savings comes from Low-E coatings that absorb and or block the unwanted thermal energy and thus allow the correct amount of light without the thermal loads associated with lighting. This technology has been perfected by a German company that boasts up to 25% heating and cooling efficiency gains, as well as up to 38% lighting requirements, met.
